Christ has done it all for Elder Hezekiah Walker, Pastor of Love Fellowship Tabernacle and founder and director of Grammy Award Winners, Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir. Pastor Walker was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where he still lives with his wife, Evangelist Monique and their young daughter KyAsia.

His father died when he was a young boy, but his mother's strong hand kept him in school and church and out of trouble in a hard neighborhood where violence and crime raged all around him.

When he was 18 years old, he accepted his call to the ministry and three years later, lost his mother. Nearly 15 years since her passing, Pastor Walker has proven that if you "Train up a child in the way he should go, when he is older, he will not depart from it. "I tried to run from preaching; one way was singing. I got the choir together and basically was the pastor over them. I would preach and minister to the choir. I tried to get it out like that, but I knew there was something more."

That "something more" became establishing his own church. In October of 1993, the Love Fellowship Tabernacle held its first service. The church began with 12 members and today, has grown to nearly 1,000. With numerous appearances on network television, Pastor Walker finds his encouragement in simple reflections on the work of God in his life, from a poor boy in Brooklyn's Fort Greene projects to a leader. "I feel confident in what I believe and what I preach," he says. "When I look back over my life and see where God has brought me from, it's impossible not to feel confident and trusting in Him."
